Carolyn was my son’s 5th grade teacher. (Photo with him below dressed for Waxless Museum). She was the most incredible teacher and really changed his life in education. She pushed for him to test for PACE which led to his passion of Humanities and History courses. He wrote about her when he graduated from Plano West. She truly created his pathway by believing in him and pushing him.
Carolyn was also my friend, but I met her through Daffron. We would do January birthdays. Whitney was the 10th, Carolyn was the 20th and I was the 30th. I loved those dinners and spending time with your mom. She is a giving heart and her kindness spreads to others in all that she does.
She is loved and treasured by many. I feel blessed to know her.
Carolyn always had an ear to bend and a shoulder to cry on. She could find a silver lining in every situation. Her laugh was infectious and her zest for life was awe-inspiring. She would show up for you no matter what. She will be deeply missed.
Carolyn was a sweet soul. She was always smiling, and she loved the Lord. She was a longtime choir member at Prestonwood Baptist Church and loved by so many. We will miss you greatly, Carolyn. May the Lord give His peace to Laura, Cody, and the rest of her family and friends! We will see you in heaven, Carolyn!
May her joy and tremendous love for others continue on in her family and all who knew her. She has left an extraordinary legacy. Praying for supernatural comfort during this time of tremendous loss,
God Bless, Angela Lemond * Matthew 5:4 *
Carolyn was one of the first friends I made at Texas Tech. We were early in the dorms because we were sorority rushing. I was immediately drawn to her inner joy and her determination. I loved her and will miss her.
