My sister, Carrol, helped me to do my best to enjoy my middle son’s wedding on Friday and my youngest son’s high school graduation on Saturday, all in the same weekend, 10 days after our mom unexpectedly passed away.
Her encouragement and strength helped me smile and to enjoy my son’s celebrations the best I could.
Without her strong words of saying, “You have to put your grieving aside for now and put your happy face on for your family.”
I did!
