CB was a great man! My grandparents lived next door (the Pitts) and I remember having many talks with him over the chain fence or in the driveway. He always was eager to help with projects and had great advice and wisdom with it. My grandfather passed and I called to tell them. He showed up to the funeral and we reminisced about the good times. I apologized about all the footballs or baseballs that we fished out of his flowerbeds! He had this startled look on his face when I did. His reply was "that wasn't a problem. That was part of the journey". He told me very sincerely "the journey is what made life enjoyable. That's the good stuff". That was the last time I heard from him. He taught me many things but that was the last thing. Enjoy life but don't forget it's the journey that makes it worth while! I will see him in heaven one day soon. I will tell him about my journey and what a profound difference he made in my life! Thanks for all the good advice and conversation.
