Pepaw was a wonderful, sweet, kind and gentle-hearted man. He was a happy soul and a caring grandfather that never complained and faced each life challenge with a smile. Not many people can handle life adversities the way he did with courage and positivity. In addition to the joy and love he gave me, I will carry forward to my child the lessons his brave life has taught me.

When I was very young I always wanted to go where ever daddy went anytime he said, he was going somewhere I had to be with him. I remember going to the donut shop on the weekends and trips to the store just time spent with my daddy it meant more to me than anything he was such as joy to be with.
