I was deeply saddened to come across the news that Dr. Barnett had passed. I was a patient of his in the early 2000's. I had suffered from debilitating migraine headaches and daily auras for years. As a medical case manager, I have come across hundreds of physicians throughout my career, and so I consider myself in a good position to judge a physician. He was the best of the best. Dr. Barnett was truly brilliant, passionate about medicine, genuinely caring, and conscientious. He was the only physician who figured out the solution to my migraine headaches and auras. Despite his brilliance, there was a humility about him. He had all of the qualities you would want in a physician. Thanks to this exceptional man, I lead a life with no migraine headaches or auras, and I am eternally grateful to him for improving the quality of my life. I am sure his memory is a blessing to all that were fortunate enough to know him.
