Sterling and I couldn’t have chosen a better man to be our “Best Man” 40 years ago. Friends since second grade, Sterling and Chuckie remained very close through high school and then LSU became Chuckie’s home and Sterling and he drifted apart for a bit. Time to get married and Sterling was “BEST MAN’ for Chuckie and Chuckie for us. The move to Garland, TX placed some miles between them but they managed to keep in touch reminiscing often. Sterling holds such fond memories of Mr. Charlie and Mrs. Ursula. They were like parents to him. He now treasures precious memories of Chuckie as well. Gone but certainly never forgotten. We love you, Chuckie.
