I was very saddened to hear of Uncle Charlie's passing, but also filled with joy that he is now with his Lord and Savior and no longer feeling any pain or suffering. Shelly and I are praying for all our family members, especially Aunt Mattie. We are sorry we could not attend the services, but work commitments prevented us from traveling to Dallas. Charles was one of Texas' film pioneers, and there are many, many people who will remember his generosity to our industry. It was always a joy to visit with him, and those visits usually ended up at Pappadeaux! He was truly a good friend.
