Mr. Charles Edward Gibbs, age 91, passed away peacefully at 8:25 PM on Thursday, September 6, 2018, in Irving, Texas. He was born on January 10, 1927, to his loving and thoughtful parents in Knoxville, TN. Mr. Charles Edward Gibbs is survived by his wife Dorothy Gibbs, sons: Ted (Mary) Gibbs, Joe (Sandy) Gibbs, David (Marilee) Gibbs, Ray (Betsey) Gibbs, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and he will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him. At this time, funeral services for Mr. Charles Edward Gibbs will be held at Plymouth Park United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Monday September 10, 2018 at 12:30 pm and a funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm. Burial will be held Monday September 17, 2018 at 11:00 am at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
