Charles Lee McNeese's Obituary
Charles Lee McNeese of Richardson, Texas, passed away on October 29, 2025, in Richardson, Texas at 98 years of age. He was born on January 27, 1927, in Westminister, Texas to George McNeese and Mary Ingram McNeese. He married the love of his life, Virginia Harris McNeese on August 7, 1945, and served in the United States Army from March of 1944 to April of 1947.
Charles was an active member of the First Baptist Church Richardson for over 70 years. A long-time resident of Richardson, Texas since 1953, Charles was also a Master in Good Standing for over 50 years at the Grand Lodge of Texas. He retired from Texas Instruments after serving as one of their top machinists for 30 years.
Charles will always be remembered by many beloved friends and family as a devout Christian man with strong morals and values.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary McNeese; sisters, Doris Johnston and Georgia Carol McMahan; brothers, Billy McNeese (his best friend that he missed very much and passed away on the same day Billy did seven years earlier), and Jack McNeese; along with his nephew, Gary McNeese.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Cherilynne (Cheril) McNeese Ramsey and her husband, Rodney, of Bacliff, Texas; his son, Randy Lee McNeese; his only grandson, Holt Ryan Owen and his wife, Stephannie; and three precious great grandsons, Kreed Hollis, Knox Jackson, and Kross Brecken, of Amarillo, Texas; as well as many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
Services will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Richardson. Family visitation will be at 10:00 AM with the service to follow at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will be held at Restland Cemetery in the Crestview section at 12:30 PM, with Military Honors and a Masonic ceremony.
