Charles D. Smith, born February 15, 1930 in Celeste, TX, died on April 24, 2016 in Garland, TX. C.D. is preceded in by death by his parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and daughter, Patricia Ann Smith. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Violet Smith, daughters: Carren Fasolino and husband Ross, B.J. Singer and husband Mark, and Cynthia Smith; son, Garry Smith, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sister, Mable Carson and many loving nieces and nephews. Family will be received on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 12 PM at Bethel Lutheran Church , located at 11211 NW Hwy, Dallas, TX at 12 noon. Graveside services will be at 3 PM at Restland Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
