"Mr. Tedford was a wonderful man and his heart was as sweet as his smile. He will truly be missed." Lisa Castro
Uncle Charlie was one of the best men I ever knew. I never saw him without a smile when I was growing up. I didn't get to see him in my lifetime as much as I had wished. I do have my favorite memory when he took me out on his sail boat. We had such an awesome time. I will aways remember him.
We will miss Charlie even though we didn't get to see him very often in the last few years. I was 5 years old when he left for college and have no memory of him living at home. Just a few little things–like his friends walking on their hands in the front yard. One Christmas Eve I got up to see if Santa had come but Charlie and I am not sure who else was in the living room and no Santa!!! We were spending the summer in Michigan when he drove to Texas to marry Jane. I turned 10 that summer and I do remember when Charlie and Jane came up there. We had been swimming in Lake Michigan and were so sunburned!!! I always love to hear him tell stories of the early days, but never can remember them. Wish we had a recording because he was the last one of that generation of our family. Our prayers and love go out to all of his great family. He was so proud of each of you. Let's keep in touch, Much love, Rita and Bob
