My dear choir sister and friend. She and I would always have the best laughs and fun time in the choir stand. I miss her so. Rest well my dear sister.

I met Ms Rolla at Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas. She was a counselor and I was the testing coordinator. She moved mountains to get reluctant students across the stage at graduation and pushed them into a better life for themselves and their families. She was tough but if a student would only turn and look in her direction, she would come running to them to take care of their needs and their families as well. She has had a major impact on the East Dallas area and several generations of people and we are better off for it. Thank you Ms. Rolla and rest in peace in the beauty of your eternal home.

In addition to her many titles, should be "Mother of Thousands." Charmayne used her wit and grit to push, pull, or knock countless students across the graduation line and into a better life, regardless of their background, reputation, or circumstances. Hats off to this Champion of Children.
