I only knew Chuck from his being a shopper at my business on Hillcrest right across the street from his beloved SMU. We carry Highland Park Scots products and SMU products too so we were a natural fit for him to shop with us. Though he purchased plenty of spirit gear from us over the numerous years what I remember most is his upbeat cheerful nature. Though I couldn't understand much of what he was saying I DID understand that he was trying to convey a great deal of positivity and what a gift he had to be so giving of himself in that way! Chuck, the "McCartney's Girls" and I will miss you and want you to know you had a beautiful impact of us. Pony Up and Go Scots! Carolyn McCartney Culbert
Chuck was a sweet and wonderful man whom I was privileged to have met a few years ago, He had such a gentle soul and overflowed with joy. We would be in his home on Thanksgiving numerous times and he would sit and watch as we decorated his tree. He would have stories to tell about each decoration we unwrapped and would share memories of why they were special. When you were leaving you got one of his big hugs. I will miss that this year and you Chuck. Rest in Peace. Nikki

I met Chuck about 2 years ago when my husband, Jerry Cooper became one of his caretakers. Chuck was so sweet and adoring, you just loved him right away. He loved listening to radio station 98.7 KLUV and that is the first thing he did when getting in the car, changed the station to KLUV (my favorite also). Chuck will be missed but he is not having to endure the things of this world anymore…he is home. RIP sweet Chuck!
