Walkers
She and her Family were thought VERY Highly of. Were very sad to hear this news. I was put on Skates before I could even walk back at Deuback's Skating Rink on Lower Greenville Ave around 1966 or 67….My Parent's basically grew up there as well and Played many Hockey Games there. Thomas Walker and Billie(Morris). I was very young but I DO remember Peaches from when I was a child. She was so sweet and gave me free drinks in the Concession Stand and gave lots of hugs. I remember the Deubacks feeling very highly of both my Parent's and my Parent's thinking VERY highly of them as well. Lots and Lots of Skating Memorys from down on Lower Greenville Avenue and Vickery Park Area memorys too. I think my Parent's Met at the Rink around 1957/58 but will have to ask them to be sure. I also remember a Reunion that was held there where lots of "Old Pic's" from thru the years were handed out to everyone that came, back before it closed down…I think!? My Parents recently celebrated 52 yrs of Marriage and 55 yrs from them meeting at Deuback's Skating Rink!! I have been told that some people said they would never make it, but they HAVE!! Peaches would be proud of them.
