Cleta J. "Peaches" Deuback's Obituary
Jean Deuback was born in Cedar Hill, Texas on February 22, 1922. The good Lord blessed her with a long spiritually rich life and took her to be with Him at the age of 89 at 12:50 PM on March 7, 2011. Jean was a faithful Christian and a loving mother, wife, sister and friend. She moved to Dallas at an early age and lived on Greenville Avenue while operating Deuback Skating Rink with her husband. Following an early retirement, she and John moved to Bowie, Texas where she resided for the last 22 years. Jean married John on February 1, 1941. They had just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this last February. Jean was the last of her siblings. She is survived by her husband John Edward Deuback; one son John Ronald Deuback; one Grandson John Michael Deuback; and one Great Grandson Christopher Michael Deuback. Jean was also blessed with many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Services will be lead by David Hall, preacher at the Bowie Church of Christ. The Funeral and Visitation will be at Restland Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243. Go to www.restlandfuneralhome.com for directions. The open Visitation will be from 6:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 10th. Funeral services are scheduled for March 11, 2011 at 3:30 P.M. in the Main Chapel; the burial will follow immediately. Luncheon will be provided for all friends and relatives prior to the Funeral service beginning at 1:15 P.M. at Prestonwood Country Club located at 15909 Preston Rd., Dallas, TX.
