I was very sad to hear of Aunt Connie's passing. My greatest memories of her was her wonderful hospitaity. We would spend a lot of fun family time together at the Asbury home. My prayers go out to Uncle Ralph, Linda, Ron, Mike, and Steve. Love, Kristy
I wanted to tell the Asbury family that I will miss "Aunt Connie ". I remember going to their home in Houston and Dallas, and was always welcome at their home. Aunt Connie made the best " cookies " in the world, and always felt at home in her home. Connie is at home with her parents and brothers and sister. May they all be at peace, and with our Lord and Savior.
I will miss Aunt Connie. I remember going to her house for dinner many times as a child when we would travel to Dallas. One of my favorite childhood memories is a Christmas we spent at her house when the families were there – I think nearly all of us from all sides showed up, and it was a lot of people!
Some of my favorite childhood memories were going over to Aunt Connie and Uncle Ralph's in the summer. All of the kids would play together all day and well into the evening: Games like "kick the can" and "sardines." Aunt Connie was so cheerful, and Uncle Ralph had a smile as wide as the Texas plains. Over the years, we have lost track of each other, and I have missed that relationship. I appreciate the opportunity to convey my condolences to Ralph and his family.
