She was there when I was born
She was there when I was growing up.
She was there for our Mother and Daddy
She was there for my first job
She was there when I met my Charlie
She was there and planned our beautiful wedding
She was there for our 50th Wedding Anniversary
She was there when we had our three sons-Kim, Kevin & Danny
She was there to help raise them
She was there when they had babies of their own
She was there to help Charlie open barber shop for our lively hood
She was there for our family cruises
She was there for our family trip to mountains
She was there to take us to her favorite beach in Mexico
She was always there for all of us, and now our hearts are sad and broken but have peace and comfort knowing she is in a beautiful place now with our Lord & Savior with
no pain and with Woody and family and those gone before.

Merle was not only my sister, she was like a second mother. Growing up on a farm we didn't have much income, but every time she came home Merle brought her little sister gifts. With little money, I was still one of the best dressed girls in my school. Due to Merle's love, I had new dresses, shoes, the latest cosmetics, nice permanents and most anything a young girl's heart desired. Looking back over the years I'm so thankful for the day I was born. I'm even more thankful for the day Merle was born.
Not only have we lost a precious family member, the world has lost a precious lady.
I had the pleasure of sitting with her a few times along with her sisters to share some those days that she spent growing up on the farm. I'll never forget those days. She was the pilar of this family and the love for her was in abundance from everyone. Her smile was infectious. My deepest sentiments and love, Maria
