I have so many great childhood memories that include this wonderful woman, but my favorite would be all the ones where I am playing in her and Uncle Wilson's living room on the self – playing piano!! I thought it was magic and was in awe everytime she would set it to play for me! I love you very much and will miss you terribly, Inny Inny!!! (Oh giving her that nickname is also near and dear to my family and my's heart)

My sweet grandma. I am so sad but know that you and Grandpa are finally together again. The best days of my childhood were spent with you both. You always made me feel so loved and took such good care of me. I loved being at your house. Playing on the piano and organ, exploring the backyard, visiting with Aunt Louise and Aunt Lou Lou (Eunice). The only thing that makes my heart happy right now is knowing you and Grandpa are finally together again. He was the most extraordinary man to ever exist and I miss him every day. I love you.
Grandma was a wonderful woman and loved to spoil her grandchildren! I remember spending nights with Grandma and Grandpa and learning how to sew making Barbie clothes, cook pralines, and watch Care Bears over and over. Grandma had a wonderful heart and enjoyed life. We visited on Thursday, December 17th celebrating Christmas at the Cedar Lake Nursing Home. Grandma was all smiles that day wearing her Christmas vest, eating sugar cookies, sipping punch, and holding her 4 month old Great-Granddaughter. She is now with Grandpa and her poodles that she dearly loved. Grandma – you will be missed by all and are truly loved! She and Grandpa will always have a special place in my heart. Mom, you were a wonderful person, a faithful wife and a loving mother. It was my honor to help take care of you in your years of need as you did so well for me when I was young and dependent on you. You are loved with all of my heart forever and will never be forgotten. The peaceful smile on your face as soon as you took your last breath was a testimony to your faith in God and the rewards He has promised. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that you were reunited with Dad and your family at that moment in eternity. May God bless your soul until we are reunited again.
I remember visiting Nanny during summer vacations when I was a child. She always had cases of Dr. Pepper and pies ready for us to devour. To this day, every time I drink Dr. Pepper I think of my Nanny and Papa. I remember how she loved her poodles, especially Honey Bear and Goldilocks. I am going to miss my Nanny…I love you Nanny.
