What an amazing women. My heartfelt prayers are with your family.
She was a lovely lady. May God grant her eternal rest. It is well!
I wish I had know Daisy when we were young. I am grateful that I had ten years with her. I met her soon after joining St. Philips and also served in the Prison Ministry with her. She was always friendly and made me feel comfortable even my first time to go into a prison. I know she is in a better place, where she is at peace and free of pain. My love and prayers to her family.
Nothing stopped Daisy. She was unstoppable and obviously lived full out. I always felt I was in the presence of a majestic queen when I was around her. Her grace, love ,and inner joy, no matter what challenges I saw her face, still lit up the room. Her laugh was contagious beyond the walls! I imagine there was nothing she needed to say at the prison to soften hardened hearts. If she had a book on her life, I would be the first to read it. Reading about her I see there are rich experiences that would be beyond just interesting but could even be transformational.
A beautiful woman who accomplished so much with her pioneering spirit. Much love to Terry and Omar.
Beautiful tribute to an amazing woman. So sorry for your loss. May God give much comfort to your family during this difficult time. Love, Celeste & Larry
