This is how I will remember Dameon. The way he looked when he was looking at Eli, an engaged dad. Always a smile on his face. He called me “Nona”, just like Eli. The day we both helped bring Eli into the world. The deck we built in time for my son’s graduation party and the remodeling of my house when I was getting it ready for sale. We became friends and I respected him for his hard work and enthusiasm. I watched him rededicate himself to Jesus on quiet mornings sitting on the deck before we dived into the day’s work. How proud he was of the work he did at the top of those cellphone towers. How quickly he mastered new skills. How much he loved his family. These are all the memories I will carry with me and the impact he made on my family. Love you, Dameon, and I will share all this greatness with Eli for the rest of his life. ~ Dona
