Mr. Dameon Joseph Melito's Obituary
For our beautiful son, father, brother, grandson, great grandson, nephew, cousin, and dear friend.”
Dameon Joseph Melito - born on September 2nd 1995 in Dallas, Texas and has gone to be with Jesus at 27 years old on March 1st 2023. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers Joe “Paw-Paw” Waddle, James Vincent Melito Sr.; great-grandmother Mary Melito and grandmother Loretta Stevens. He is survived by his parents Amber and Ace Price, JD Stevens; sons Raiden and Elijah Melito; sisters Delaney and Dylann Price; grandparents Linda and Vince Waggoner, Diann “Nana” Price, and James Vincent Melito Jr.; great grandmother Brenda Waddle and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Dameon was strong, extremely intelligent, funny, gifted, talented, handsome, protective, caring, and most of all loving. He believed in Jesus and gave his soul to the Lord multiple times throughout his life. He was a spectacle to see on the football field. The drive, dedication, focus, energy, and passion he had for the sport was awe inspiring. The push to be greater and larger than life landed Dameon as a tower hand scaling 2000ft towers, all for the admiration of his boys to say, “Daddy’s Tower”. They thought of him as larger than life, higher than all around. They looked up to him, literally and figuratively. Dameon loved and adored his sons, sisters, and cousins more than his own life. He cherished every moment and memory with each of them and constantly talked about how important all were to his life. Mainly, he loved his mom. Amber was everything to Dameon, his light, soul, heart, and most cherished love of all.
A funeral service will be held in Dameon’s honor on Thursday, March 16th 1-3p at Restland Funeral Home. It will be held at The Memorial Chapel, located at 13005 Greenville Avenue at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243. Viewing will start at 1pm and the funeral will begin at 2pm. There will be a reception room to meet at immediately after the funeral for anyone that wants to stay behind and visit.
