A perfect example of how Uncle Doug was always the one that held everything together at the family reunion auctions when Brant and Charles would get off track making a fool of themselves.
On January 20, 2002 we shared our special day and with Doug and Colleen in Las Vegas. On the day of the marriage Doug and I went to a local beverage store and stocked up on about everything we could imagine that the guests would want. (Most guests were employees of Lennox Industries, we were attending a National Sales Meeting).
After lugging all of the libations to the Suite we realized that a bottle per person might have been a bit much. We added a few bottles of sparkling wine and we were satisfied. We couldn't believe that the sparkling wine was the most popular and ran out quickly.
All of our memories with Doug and family started in the fall of 1998 to present including our last visit Memorial Day weekend 2021. We have many cherished moments that we shared from the birth of their son to grandson and now granddaughter.
Whenever anyone would need any type of assistance Doug would be there. Our home in Louisiana was flooded in August 2016. As soon as we could get back to the house to start working, Doug was there to help with a truckload of containers and tools for demo.
Friends, where would we be without them, we will truly miss Doug and his jovial manner, I will miss the frequent calls.
