Mr. Greer, father of one of my best friends growing up, was my first and “The BEST” softball coach ever. He was always positive and encouraging. I often reminisce about slumber parties and teenage get togethers at the Greer’s. Their house always felt like a home. You will live on forever in the hearts of many. With much love and admiration, Marcy (Box) Whited
In the sixth grade three of us, David, Charles Kugler and myself started a life long friendship. David was a part of my family and my folks loved him like their son. I loved him like a brother. The last time I visited with him he said he was my brother. We’ve been close and we’ve been apart but we always cared. Charles and I will miss him and share many stories. Heaven gained a running back and a truly great guy. I love you guy, save Kug and me a uniform.
David Greer was an incredible man. He was at Flippers Gymnastics every evening and during the day on some days. I remember him being on his tall ladder and changing lightbulbs in in gym. I also remember helping him clean out the pits. He was an awesome father and grandfather. He attended all of his grandchildrens a activities I miss you David.
