David Ray Stacy's Obituary
Born March 1, 1941 in Dallas, Texas to Robert and Marie Stacy and passed away November 29, 2014 in Garland, Texas at the age of 73 after a brief and brave fight with pancreatic cancer. Preceded in death by his father, Reverend Robert A. Stacy Jr.; and his siblings, Timothy Stacy and Linda Crawford. David is survived by his mother, Marie Stacy; his lovely wife of 51 years, Carolyn; daughter, Amy Storar; sons, Lance Stacy and wife Carolyn, and David Belcher; siblings, Marvin L. Stacy, Ann Cedillo, Vickey L. Peters and Darla Bicknell. God has blessed David with 4 grandchildren, many nieces,nephews, brothers and sister in law. David was a beloved teacher and coach in the Dallas Independent School District for 37 years. He touched the lives of people everywhere he went. Coach Stacy loved learning, teaching and competition and bringing success to all his “kids”. David’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Service for David will take place a 2:30 pm on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
