Dean Green's Obituary
Dean Green was born September 26, 1928 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents, John and Eula Martha (Childress) Moore. She passed away February 24, 2017 in Dallas,Texas. She was 88 years of age. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Cynthia Green and Karen Gutierrez. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Joseph “Joe” M. Green; her children, Linda Gass and husband Ron of Broken Arrow, OK, and John Green of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren, Amy Stogsdill and husband Eric, Emily Lusk and husband Jason, Bryan Gutierrez and wife Kate, and Bradley Gutierrez; and seven great-grandchildren; numerous other family members including Jerry Hawkins and Kennedy Green Hawkins; and all of her dear friends. Dean married Joe on November 27, 1949. She was proud to say that she was a wife, homemaker and mother. She volunteered her time within the community in many various activities throughout her life. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to approximately 1:45 pm in the Wildwood Chapel located at Restland Memorial Park 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. Immediately following the visitation, there will be a short procession to the graveside for a 2:00 pm graveside service in the Colonial Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SPCA and/or the charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the care of Restland Funeral Home.
