Some of my fondest memories as a child and adult come from the gatherings we would have at my aunt's. She always knew how to throw a good party! My aunt was always so welcoming to everyone coming into her home and always made sure everyone was having a good time. She cared so much and so deeply for her friends and family. We always poked fun at her and said that we always had to make sure she had a box of tissues near by because she was bound to cry at least once (always over something that made her happy). My dad always told me that I get my bossiness from her, and that is something I will cherish proudly. The strength that she has shown over the past several yeard during her fight with cancer is so humbling. Aunt Debbie, I will miss the sound of your laugh. I know we will all have our boxes of tissues with us on Wednesday and in the hard time to come. I know you have found peace in Heaven and I can only imagine the party you're throwing up there! I love you and will miss you always.
I had no idea she did that Randy! How awesome and special to have that memory.
My Cousin Debbie will forever be remembered for her funny jokes and wonderful laugh. She was so fun to be around, so full of excitement and energy. Once we traveled to London and Paris to visit her family, what a blast we had together. But mostly Debbie was a caring person who always shared herself, giving to others selfishly and always with a smile. Lynn, you have lost a most wonderful wife, God be with you always, my friend. You are in our prayers. Until we meet again cuz. Rest in Peace.
Every year around mid-March, I could anticipate an email from Debbie, ready for me to fill out an NCAA March Madness bracket. My Aunt was not a sports fan, but she was determined to win her office bracket each and every year… Aunt Debbie you can bet there will be a bracket every year with your name on it. I'm going to miss you. May you Rest In Peace…
Debbie is exactly what a big sister was to be. A little bossy always concerned. And always a place to turn when you need to cry. Debbie was the strongest and bravest lady I know though she was fighting cancer, she cared for Mom for 2 years and never complained. The battle of cancer is over the Victory belongs to the Lord for through Him we can conquer death. Cancer does not win. I will miss her laugh when she tells jokes

I still remember the summers I would fly up to spend a week or two with Debbie, we would always get into trouble with Aunt Johnny for staying up all night laughing. Even though we drifted apart as we grew older, she always had a special place in my heart.
