She was always laughing with us, never a dull moment with her beautiful smile and warm hands there to make you feel comfortable and know you’re safe.
Grandma LOVED Christmastime and her spiked egg nog! I know exactly where my love of Rum and Whiskey come from and it’s her teaching me at 10 yrs old how to make the perfect holiday drinks! I love you so much grandma and will pass down our love of spiked egg nog during the holidays to the girls! Te quiero mucho!!!!! I feel you almost everyday near me and wrap one of your scarves around me for comfort as I grieve not hearing your laugh or excitement at the zoo of animals in the house. I will forever watch Golden Girls and pretend it’s our Friday date night. Every time I make shredded chicken tacos or beef enchiladas I will smile knowing they were your favorite. (& frijoles with anything!) Until we meet again.
