We still miss you Uncle Paw :(
Remembering your "Daddy Burgers" and the "penalty box" and how much joy and laughter you brought to our family. I miss you so much.
Annie has passed away this week and we are attending her funeral this afternoon. I hope you, Mama, and Hump greet her when she arrives. I can already hear you saying, "Hood!"
Rest on, Uncle Paw
I have been trying to reconnect with Derrell for at least two years. I had no luck of course. I found his card in my wallet today and did a google search Which led me here. I was so sad to learn that my old friend had passed. Derrell helped me when I needed transportation so many times over the 18 years that I knew him. I always enjoyed seeing him. We laughed at each other’s stories. He was a terrific man and I hate that he was taken at such an early age. Merry condolences to his family and friends. Linda
Continue resting in Heaven, Uncle Paw!
I miss you so much!!
We've managed to continue our tradition of celebrating holidays and special occasions as a family, and even though we manage to laugh and enjoy being together, your absence has left us with a void that will never be filled. I still sneak off to have a private moment with God and express to him how much I miss my Uncle Paw. You took a large part of my heart with you when you left us. May you continue to rest in peace.
I visit this tribute wall daily because I am still trying to accept the fact that my uncle has finished his assignment here on earth, and though the pain seems endless, I do find some peace (and little snippets of joy) in the memories he has left behind. I miss you so much Uncle Paw, just your presence in our family and that big, beautiful smile. Though you were not the oldest, you have always been our family's role model. Thank you for the wonderful years we were blessed to share with you. Love, Yady
Thank you so much for expressing your memory of our loved one. It is so refreshing to know that my uncle positively influenced the lives of those he had the privilege of serving.

I and my colleagues at UT Southwestern Pediatric Neurology used Derrell's car service for many trips to airports. It was always a joy for me to see that he was my driver. Riding with him was fun. He was upbeat, on time, reliable and professional. I will miss him. Susan T. Iannaccone, MD
