I’m so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. My husband and I had know him for many years from Home Depot. When we were in the store, he would always come around to find us to tell a story and always a joke of the day. Such a delightful, friendly, compassionate human being, who was loved by everyone he met. When my husband passed away, he sat with me in the middle of the store to comfort me while I cried. I am so honored to call him my friend. Rest in peace, Don.
My family and I moved next door to Don in Garland. From the beginning, he and Marty were so welcoming and kind. He would always drive by and slow down to say hello, share a joke, and wave to the kids. While I only knew him for a short while, our interactions were always memorable. I pray for his family and friends and hope the pain of the loss dulled a little in knowing how special Don was and how many hearts he touched.
Don loved working part time at Home Depot He always had a big smile for everyone he saw and a great joke to tell the customers and his fellow workers.He will be truly missed by all who new and loved him.My thoughts and prayers are with his family.Rest In peace my Dear friend
Don was man who knew no stranger, he had a wealth of knowledge and was always willing to help. He was a great asset to him employer and will be missed by all who knew him.
