Donald Clarence Cupp's Obituary
Donald Clarence Cupp, 81 of Garland, Texas, born July 20, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Clarence and Loraine Cupp, passed away on August 6, 2023. Don is survived by his wife Marty of 59 years, sons Brad and wife Chris Cupp. Bryan and wife Josie Cupp. Daughter Heather and husband Tim Lynch, three grandsons, Brenden, Sebastian, Peerson, his Sister Elaine Vater and two loving nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Loraine. Don was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to everyone. Don worked at The Home Depot for over twenty years, up until his eightieth year. He loved working with his colleagues and helping customers and was regarded as the "godfather of gardening." He enjoyed landscaping and spent countless hours in the yard. Another favorite pastime was listening to and watching baseball, where his favorite team was the Texas Rangers. Everyone was a friend to Don, and he delighted in sharing jokes and good conversation. He was a true character and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the Restland Funeral Home on Friday, August 18, 2023. A Memorial service will be held at the Abbey Chapel at Restland Memorial Park on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 10:00AM.
