Donald Dean Day's Obituary
Mr. Donald Dean Day, age 83, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021, in Richardson, Texas. He was born to Mr. Chester Early Day and Ms. Dorothy Ellen Burnam on Wednesday, October 5, 1938, in Callao, Missouri. He married Shirley Clayburg on February 9, 1958 from Prairie Hill, MO. They have been happily married for 63 years! Mr Day's work career spanned 52 years with the first 26 in Retail Business and the last 26 in the Printing business working with car dealerships.
Surviving Mr Day are his wife Shirley, 2 sons and their wives Tim and Lisa Day of Denton, TX and Mike and Nefe Day of Garland, TX. He has 3 grandsons - Josh Day and his wife Jetta, Shawn Day and his wife Donna and Dylan Day and his girlfriend Jessica Moore, 3 great grandkids - Chandler Day, Slade Day and Astrid Day, and 7 step great grandkids. Donald Day enjoyed spending time with family, friends, watching sports, playing cards and gardening. Donald leaves his loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
Funeral services for Mr. Donald Day will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 at 2pm in Restland Memorial Chapel. The visitation will be Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 3p-5p at Restland Funeral Home.
