I won't be able to make it up to the visitation but wanted to be sure you knew that many of us at the Waxahachie Y would be there if we could. Don was a loved member of our Senior classes. He could name every artist for every song the instructor played. He shared many stories about his life in the police and fire departments. He was a kind, gentle man and will be missed by us. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Connie Grube and rest of the AOA and Silver Sneaker Classes
I'm so sorry to hear of Don's passing. I knew Don from the Waxahachie YMCA where we participated in exercise classes, enjoyed group meals, and played Mexican Train dominoes. He always knew the artists and lyrics to the songs from the 50s and 60s that we moved to in our routines. What a great guy! We'll miss him but will keep fond memories in our hearts. Lynn Stockman, Waxahachie
My husband and I met Don at the Senior exercise classes at the YMCA. We all will continue to miss his smile and friendly demeanor sitting around the table in the lobby before class. My sincere sympathy to the family. Margo Capps
