Donna Elaine Jenkins' Obituary
Donna Elaine Jenkins was raised in Corsicana, TX and passed away in Plano, Texas. She was a licensed cosmetologist and trained in lab, x-ray and nursing. Donna worked as a surgical nurse, but retired from AT&T as an industrial nurse. She was a member of the American Association of Medical Assistances and the Red Hatter Society. She was an accomplished painter, journalist, and played the accordion. Donna was active in Church of Christ and Plano Senior Center. She was the runner up Ms. Senior Plano in 2009. Donna won the 1st place national award for “The Texas Beam”, the Texas paper written for Texas AAMA. She is survived by her daughter, Carla Miller and numerous nieces and nephews. The visitation for Donna Jenkins will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 04, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral services for Donna Jenkins will be at 12:30 PM on Friday, December 05, 2014 in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donate to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75238 at Restland Road.
