Anyone who shared time with Dorothy was energized by her joy in life. She was a hoot. Always fun to be around. She "filled a room". We will always remember our wonderful family get togethers enriched by her and her brothers' humor and love of life.
I'm very sorry, for the loss of such a wonderful woman. Aunt Dorothy was my Grandpa's (Tom Spillman) sister. The last time I saw her was in Colorado, a couple years ago. She was always so well-mannered & finely dressed. I heard that she was a pretty competitive card-player, though I'm not sure if I ever got to play against her. Grandpa always said it was tough to beat her and Uncle George. Aunt Dorothy will be greatly missed. She often wore a smile, which made her beautiful blue eyes sparkle. My heart goes out to the rest of the family. God bless you all.
Bill,Angela,&Family; Please accept our sympathy for the loss of your Mother. We knew she had been ill, but had not heard any recent news. I have many fond memories of trips out West, family gatherings, BBQ's at Uncle Maurice's,or Jack's;and even remember a time or two when Aunt Dorothy would have you play the piano for us after we ate dinner at your house.
