The sweetest sister-in-law we had. Never an unkind word about anyone and always wanting to do for others. We loved her very very much. A wonderful personality and she never met a stranger. Just a joy to be with!

Aunt Dorothy as I knew her. She was such a blessing to be around. She always kept me laughing. I remember the times she would come and stay the night with us and we even took her to the movie one time to see Ernest Saves Christmas. She told the movie people that she should not have to pay full price because all she was going to to do was listen to it. My boys thought alot of Aunt Dorothy along with my husband. We can now say all of her family is back together in heaven. She is probably having a great time with her dad,mom,2 brothers, sister, daughter and 1st husband. We will miss you alot. Love you so much Roxanne and Ricky McElhaney
I shall never forget the evening I met Dorothy at the Rodeo City Music Hall. I instantly loved her as we visited after the show that July night. She was so energetic and lively! She shared with me how much she enjoyed coming to the shows and especially hearing the "old legendary" country songs. I told her that I would do some especially for her and she grabbed my neck and with great laughter, thanked me as she headed out the door. I did get to sing several old songs for Dorothy and each time she lit up with joy from the inside. She loved country music and the singers at RCMH! We all will always love Dorothy and will look onward until our eyes meet in heaven! In prayer, I feel that God shares this with us all…."I saw an angel in the stone, and so I carved to set her free"! Thanks for your love for others and sharing your life with the world! Love, Billy J. Martin
