Dorothy Merritt's Obituary
Born February 9, 1923 in Peoria, Illinois and passed away March 9, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank Merritt; son, Michael Merritt; and grandson, Jonathan Merritt Rice. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Margaret Merritt Disabato, Patricia Merritt Lanier; grandchildren, Tammy Merritt Gore, Nancy Merritt Neely, Julie Burns, Christopher Merritt, Lauren Rice; and 6 great grandchildren. Services will take place at 1:00 pm on March 22, 2016 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 1210 W. Beltline Road, Richardson, TX 75080. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at Restland Memorial Park, The Garden of the Last Supper. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
