I loved sweet Dorothy so very much. We met when I was a young girl working at Hallmark Electronics. She took me under her wing and not only taught me job skills but mentored me in my Christian walk. I knew I could always go to her with anything that was troubling me and she would pray for the best outcome. She was a precious friend through out my life and we kept in touch with visits and phone calls. I'm sending my sincere condolences to her family, husband Bob & all her children and grandchildren. What a sweet blessing she was to all who knew her. So thankful this old world is not our home and we will get to spend eternity together in Heaven. Thank you Lord Jesus for placing Dorothy in my life. <3
How blessed I was to know Dorothy.
We had gone to church together for years, but it was her cooking that introduce us. One of her dishes at a potluck was so good I had to hunt down the cook. From that day on she called me her friend and every Sunday made sure to talk to me. Prayers for the family and our church family because she will be missed, but we know where she is. 😉
Dorothy was respected by everyone in Trinity Life Church and was enjoyable to converse with at our ladies meetings. She always encouraged me and I know she was well loved by her family and friends. I will miss her and value the time I knew her.
