My deepest condolences to Douglas's family. I had the honor of seeing him at a party years ago. He was an awesome photographer, was kind and caring to everyone and lit the room up with his wonderful smile. I salute you Doug for you make a huge impression on this world. I was shocked and saddened at the news of Doug's passing. I have posted it up at one of the professional organizations Doug belonged to. When I joined the AV industry in 2006, Doug was one of the first techs I had the privilege to work with and someone who made the job fun. He could usually be found with a smile like the one in the picture, even when he was sweating his butt off. Well, most of the time anyway heh. My condolences to his family and loved ones and prayers. RIP Doug. Please let us know if there are any plans for a memorial or scholarship for the kids.

Doug was a very sweet and gentle person.. he work for my photography company through out the years and was always a welcomed addition to the shoot.. he had a great vision and followed that vision .. he will be missed..
While I have not seen Doug in years, I attended church with him and was neighbors with him when we were growing up in Heath. Doug and his family were always very nice and great people to be around. I just want to let him family know that they are in my prayers during this time.
I met Doug in high school. Our families are friends, our mother's-best friends. Back then Doug loved motorcycles and photography. I have prayed for Doug and his family thru the years. I was fortunate to see Doug several times over the last few years. Now a professional photographer, he rode in on a motorcycle-leather and all! I met his wife JJ and with a sparkle in his eye and joy in his heart he told me about all of his children and how proud he was of them. I am praying for his family and will miss my friend!
I knew Doug for many years professionally as being one who hired him and brought him into this business and as a coworker in the last few years … I was sadden today to hear of this untimely passing .
