Douglas Stone Hopfer's Obituary
HOPFER, DOUGLAS STONE Passed away February 22nd, 2010 in Garland, TX and is now at peace in the arms of his LORD. Doug was born July 29th, 1962 in San Jose, CA. He was an accomplished professional photographer who traveled the world creating thousands of images that tell stories of hope, beauty and faith. He is survived by his wife JJ Hopfer and her three children, Reed, Paige, and Andrew. Also survived by his loving mother Jonnel, father William and his wife Yoshika. Doug also leaves behind his brother Jeffrey and wife Nicole with son Josef, and his sister Amy, her husband David and their sons, Drew and Hayden. He is also survived by his first wife Sheryl, mother of their six children and her immediate family. Of all Doug’s numerous accomplishments in life, he was most proud of his beautiful children, Benjamin, Michelle, Zachary, Rebekah, Jacob and Hannah. He was happiest when surrounded by all of his children. We will all surround him again in eternity.
