Born March 6, 1933 in Deport, Texas and passed away April 18, 2015 in Garland, Texas. Preceded in death by his parents, Lionel Jake Grinstead and Flossie Mae Hammonds Grinstead; sisters, Anne Ruth Grinstead Pomroy and Dorothy Faye Grinstead Henderson. Survived by his Wife, Shirley; Children, Gary Grinstead and wife, Debbie, John Grinstead and spouse, JJ Gutierrez, Karen Grinstead Isaacs and husband, Eugene, Glenda Grinstead Adams and spouse TBA; Grandchildren, Josette, Steven and wife Jessica, Tiffani and husband Chris, Billy and wife Jennifer, Adam and wife Samantha, Bobby and wife Allyson, and Angelique and husband Josh; 21 Great-Grandchildren, Chloe, Caitlyn, Brooke, Skyllar, Christian, Corbin, Dillon, Lexi, Trystan, Hannah, Madeline, Jacob, Sydney, Aidan, Raynie, Landon, Paiton, Emma, Siena, Joelea, and Kaylee; one great great grandchild, Kian; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family will recieve friends on April 21, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on April 22, 2015 at 2:30 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel. He will be loved and missed forever. His spirit lives in all of us. One of a kind. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
