Elayna Rogers Johnson's Obituary
In the quiet of the morning on Sunday, February 4, 2024, Elayna Rogers Johnson, 29 – beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend – peacefully passed away in her home with her husband by her side.
Elayna was born on June 2, 1994, in Dallas, Texas, to Bryan and Kathy Rogers. Her life will forever be marked by the joy and faith she found in her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Elayna was one of a kind. Her humor was at the forefront of her being and was apparent in every aspect of her life. Her laugh was infectious and her smile could fill the room. Her wit was always on full display and she never held back in her eagerness to encourage those around her. Above all, her creativity and her competitiveness were her two greatest God-given gifts. These were evidenced in her various creative businesses, most recently blitzing the children’s clothing market under her flagship creation, Lottie Dot Kids.
In August 2023, Elayna was diagnosed with late-stage breast cancer. She relentlessly battled against her illness with graceful confidence and held no fear of the future in the face of infirmity. Elayna firmly believed the Lord was her fortress, and her hope was securely anchored in Jesus throughout her battle. She enthusiastically shared her faith with her community every step of the way and her testimony serves as a clear reminder of the hope we have in Jesus Christ as our salvation.
Elayna is survived by her adoring husband, Russell Cole Johnson, and children, Wesley and Lottie; parents Bryan and Kathy Rogers; her sister Kailey Vick, and husband Robert; and her brother Nate Rogers, and wife Courtney.
