I recently attended the Texas Dance Educators Association convention when I heard the news about our dear friend Lisa. Sitting with 800 people at the evening banquet gave a memorable moment ,during a speech by Lisa Dalton, as she gave tribute to Lisa and her involvement in the dance team world. Being a Kilgore Rangerette 73-75 with Lisa was a memory that all of us will cherish. Lisa gave us so many gifts that we will all remember them for the rest of our lives. To her family, Lisa's legacy will continue and she will be missed but not forgotten! MaryLou Mager Johnson
I am saddened beyond words with the news of losing a friend that gave so much joy to so many. Lisa enriched my experience as a Kilgore Rangerette & gave me memories that will live forever in my heart. I pray the grief of losing her will turn into beautiful memories that celebrate all she stood for & the gifts she gave to all of us. My thoughts & prayers are with all her family & friends. I was fortunate to have been a Rangerette with Lisa in 1973-75 (34th Line). Lisa roomed across the hall from me in Davis Hall. We shared many wonderful Rangerette memories over those 2 years. I continued to keep in touch with Lisa over the years at various Rangerette events. It was always a joy to spend time with her. Most recent was working with her to plan our 40-year Rangerette reunion in 2015. I feel blessed to have had that special time with her. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this very difficult time. She will be missed.
Very sorry for your loss. Lisa was a wonderful lady. She gave so much of her time and attention to the drill team world. A lot of my girls benefited from her knowledge and talent. Diane Clark Gladewater High School Honey Bears
Lisa was one of my Sophomores when I was a Kilgore Rangerette. She had the same bright, beautiful smile then that she had 40 years later! Her happy, cheerful attitude will always be remembered! She will be missed!!
Lisa was my neighbor while Tyler was growing up. Her kind personality and her beautiful home reflected the type of person that she was. When she moved we missed the beauty she created with her home and garden. But she carried on. Our condolences to the family and now she is with our Heavenly Father.
Thunder: Please accept my most sincere condolences. Lisa will be missed by everyone she came in contact with, especially those at PHS. She was a guiding force for the drill team as well as in the classroom. I will always carry very fond and clear memories of such a wonderful, dynamic and driving person. Bob Stamps
