My sister Bernice married into the Morgan Family some 50+ years ago. From that point on our families became one. Travis, Betty and Paul were now siblings and Mrs. Essia Morgan became someone who was very dear to our family and a strong source of support. Prior to Mr. Morgan’s death, he was beloved by everyone and the void that he left was never filled. Ms. Morgan was loved and well respected in the community because of the light that she was. She encouraged young people to be the best that they could be. I remember how happy she was that I had chosen North Texas State to continue my education because I was following the footsteps of Betty and Travis. Mrs. Morgan accepted my sister as her own and was an awesome mother and grandmother. She loved all of her grandchildren unconditionally and there was nothing that she wouldn’t do for them. Ms. Morgan was a beautiful human being and will be truly missed. We love you “Mother” and will see you again when we get there.The Hill Sisters- Reva, Vera, Theola, Bernice, Zotean and Rebecca
