Wayne and I were friends from the time we were in 5th. grade together at Cowart Elementary School. During the summer of 1954, he invited me, along with another friend, Chris Ferguson, to spend a week with his grandparents on their farm near Commerce, TX. He and I were reacquainted at our 25th Sunset High School class reunion in 1986. Those memories are cherished ones!
