Some of my favorite memories of Mi "Primo" are when he would take me to his ranch on the weekends when I was just 14. He taught me to drive on the long dirt road leading to his place, but only after I learned to ask him in Spanish...which he taught me. Tio was the worlds most LOVING uncle. You always felt welcomed in his presence. He treated me like a princess and protected me like a Doberman. He showed me to ride, bathe and brush out Bacardi and Sibonee. We worked hard there cleaning, cooking and fixing up all those acres.... but it never seemed like we were working because when he was out there his heart was on fire. He loved breathing in that Texas air and claiming his ranch as his baby. Mi Tio was always so full of joy. I love you Primo. Thank you for patiently teaching me so many life lessons. Thank you for spending time with me. I will never forget you and I will never forget that smile. Love your "Prima" (Elizabeth Zuiker)
Sylvia, I am deeply sorry that Fernando has passed. I love you so much and my heart is sorrowful for you, Elena and James. We are praying for all of you.
May Our Lady of Sorrows comfort you in this sad and difficult time. Love Bizzy
