Not only did Uncle Forrest inherit the family sense of humor, he mastered it! He loved sharing his jokes, and would try to "pull your leg" with tales. Whenever I would try to repeat them to others, I could never quite get his sense of timing and delivery. There was another side though. He was the one person who after I lost my mother, his sister Ione, would call me on her birthday to tell me that he knew I was having a tough day and that he was thinking of me. I will miss Forrest terribly, but I can not be sorrowful, because I know that he is now reunited with the love of his life, Charlotte, who he missed every single day. My thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathy to his family. He was so proud of all of you. From Dee Johnson, Des Moines, Iowa
