Frances Darnelle Crocker Moore's Obituary
Frances Darnelle Crocker Moore, 77, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 after a 3-month illness and decline. At the time of her passing she was living at the home of her daughter, Ginger Throckmorton, in Concord, NC.
Darnelle was born on October 24, 1944 in Dallas, TX, although she grew up in Calvert and Corsicana, TX. She was the daughter of Ellen Alyne McCoy Crocker and Joe Franklin Crocker.
Darnelle was a dedicated, persevering, and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved ALL of the arts, including music, dance and theater.
In addition to her parents, Darnelle was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Anthony Moore, and her son, Howard Anthony Moore.
Darnelle is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Dave Throckmorton; granddaughters Alia Throckmorton, Elizabeth Throckmorton, Julianne Throckmorton; grandson David James Throckmorton; sister Jo Elaine Young and her husband Steve Young; niece Cameron Cooper and her husband Sam Cooper and their children Henry and Gus Cooper; aunt Edith Gandy; and cousins Clinton and Carla Gandy.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 10:00am in the Wildwood Chapel, located within Restland Memorial Park - 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, 75243
