I had many great visits with Garth & Kathy over the years. It started from my purchasing the residential lot in Heath TX where I live and their owner financing. I was going to college at nearby Amber University so I personally dropped off their payment each month for years and visited with them until I graduated. After that it was the occasional phone call just to keep in touch, Garth had great memories and stories about his time in the military, his kids and working at SMU. He had great stories and pride in the go cart racing projects and the car they gave him as a retirement present. What started of as a real estate transaction became a great friendship. I miss both Garth & Kathy very much. My condolences to the family and gratitude for taking good care of him in his last months. Rich Krause
