If this is the same Gary Johnson that taught at Eastfield College in Dallas in the early seventies then I'm sorry to hear of his passing. I think of my classes at Eastfield occasionally and I always remember his classes were very interesting and inspiring to me. We went on a field trip to Oklahoma and collected amonite fossils and that was a great trip. I still have a book from his class, "The History of Life" and have referred to it over the years. IF this is that Gary Johnson, RIP. I am 73 years old now and you affected my life very much!
