I have many fond memories of Mrs. Gene Akins but the one most important was when she agreed to be “my other mother” (my Dallas mother) & mama Gene told me I could be her “other Dallas daughter”. She was an amazing lady with lots of class, uniqueness, & love. Mama Gene I’ll miss you so much but I’m certain we will meet again (hopefully not long) & I will get my hugs once more. I love you most!!
